Using analogue devices on an ADSL line

When using an ADSL line it is possible to continue to use analogue devices on your ADSL line.

Analogue devices are things such as ordinary telephones, fax machines and modems.

When using other devices it is important that you have installed an ADSL microfilter on each socket that you wish to use an analogue device on. Normally ADSL routers will include Microfilters, however if you do not have sufficient then these are available from altoHiway.

Please also note that SOME modems and fax machines MAY interfere with your ADSL usage. It is recommended that you utilise a separate phoneline should you wish to use these devices. Unfortunately we do not currently have a list of known devices which cause interference so this process is very much trial and error.
