8000 series handsets
The new 8000 Series handsets are the latest product
offerings from Inter-Tel, the company that firmly
believes in the theory of 'Evolution not Revolution'.
Three
new models of handset
plus new Direct Station Select (DSS) and mini-DSS modules
make up the
new
face of the award-winning Inter-Tel Axxess communications
platform. Users of the 8000 Series handsets can take full advantage
of
the power of the Axxess system with evolutionary style and
functionality across the range.
The comprehensive range of handsets covers basic users through
to the 6x16 context sensitive display on both the 8560 and IP handsets.
New for the 8000 Series is the Mini-DSS which is compatible with
8520 Standard, 8560 executive and 8660 IP handsets.
The Mini-DSS offers 16 'soft' keys for additional functionality.
Whilst generally the applications are the critical factor in a communications
solution - we feel certain that the new 8000 Series handsets will

8416 Mini-DSS
The 8416 Mini-DSS Console provides 16
programmable keys with bi-colour LEDs. It attaches to the side of the handset
and with the touch of a button, you can directly connect to an extension. Compatible
with the 8560 Executive handset, 8520 Standard handset and the 8660 IP handset. |

Inter-Tel S8000 series handsets
Inter-Tel recently announced the release of a full suite
of IP handsets to complement the latest version of its Axxess
platform. The family of new handsets includes multi-protocol
IP desktop
phones and a Session Initiation Protocol Softphone for the
Pocket PC.
Designed to operate on converged IP networks, such as the internet
and corporate WANs/LANs, these new handsets enable flexible
working and remote office applications.
The handsets offer an increased range of features and functionality,
all of which can be configured with either Inter-Tel’s Axxess
protocol (Axxess mode) or SIP (SIP mode).
