Inter-Tel unified messaging

When you’re travelling or away from the office, Unified Messaging Software provides a single contact point for all your important messages. You can get all your messages in one call by connecting to your email server. Call costs are minimised because you make just one call to get all your messages. Designed to run on a Windows NT server, Unified Messaging Software combines all your messages – email, fax and voice mail – in a single, centralised mail management program. Your messages are converted to standard file formats so you can see, access and process them through a variety of devices. You can also improve productivity by sending and receiving faxes with your desktop PC.

Features

Benefits

Level 1: Standard Unified Messaging
Voice mail messages are converted to waveform (.wavV) files and received as attachments. Using a multi-media PC, voice messages may be saved or forwarded to other users. This level supports all popular email protocols such as MAPI VIM and SMTP/POP3.

Level 2: Expands Voice Messaging Options
Rather than being converted into .wav file attachments, voice messages simply appear as an email notification. Users can simply click “play” and have the message streamed real-time over a multi-media PC or desktop phone. New voice messages can be sent directly from your PC to entire email group lists or mailboxes.

Level 3: Adds Outbound Faxing
The software converts your desktop PC to a virtual fax server, providing inbound faxes to, and outbound faxing from the desktop.
